Register for 2023 House Baseball Now

For early bird rates, Mustang/Bronco register before Feb. 15 and Pinto/Tee-ball by Mar. 9. If you have registered your player in prior years, data will auto-populate to the prior year’s information. Please be sure to check that all information (grade, address, etc., is current).

What league/level of play is right for my child?

We encourage players to participate at their grade level:

●     T-Ball: Current Pre K, K

●     Pinto: Current 1st & 2nd Graders

●     Mustang: Current 3rd & 4th Graders

●     Bronco: Current 5th & 6th Graders

If your player is in Kindergarten and you would like him/her to be considered to play in the Pinto league (1st/2nd Grades), please register your player for Pinto. The Pinto Commissioner will contact you for a discussion regarding your player's experience and may request an evaluation.

If your player is in 2nd grade and you would like him/her to be considered to play in the Mustang league (3rd/4th Grades), please register your player for Mustang. All 2nd graders who are registered for Mustang will be required to be evaluated. 1st graders are not permitted to play in the Mustang league.

The decision to allow a player to play "up" is made by the LBYBA board following discussion and evaluation. Safety, skills, and the number of players registered in the leagues will factor into the decision.

Player Evaluations

Player evaluations (skills assessments for pitching, throwing, fielding and hitting) for ALL PLAYERS in the Mustang and Bronco Leagues will occur on Sunday, Mar. 5 at the Lake Forest High School Field house from 1-2:30 for Mustang Players and 2:30-4:30 for Bronco Players. The purpose of the evaluation is to provide data to help balance the teams as best as possible across the leagues.

●     All 2nd graders who would like to potentially play in Mustang must be evaluated.

●     ALL PLAYERS, INCLUDING TRAVEL players, for Mustang and Bronco registrants must also be evaluated.

LBYBA Mission

The mission of the Lake Bluff Youth Baseball Association is to teach the integrity of the game of baseball.  The programs of LBYBA focus on developing and improving players’ baseball skills, but even more importantly, fostering good sportsmanship and building character for all participants.  We believe the life lessons learned on the baseball field are critical tools for the development and growth of our children. As a volunteer-based community organization, we welcome your support, and treasure our community ties.

Congrats to Lake Bluff 12U, LSFBL 12UB North Champs!

Congrats to the Lake Bluff 12U team on winning the LSFBL 12UB North Division with a 9-2 victory over Mundelein Black!

Coaches B.R. Koehnemann, Steve Hill, Logan Horan and the squad fell just short of an overall 12UB title with a close 6-5 loss to GBN Feeder Black.

Congrats to the team for finishing up their LB Baseball experience with a strong season and playoff run!
