LBYBA Mission
The mission of the Lake Bluff Youth Baseball Association is to teach the integrity of the game of baseball. The programs of LBYBA focus on developing and improving players’ baseball skills, but even more importantly, fostering good sportsmanship and building character for all participants. We believe the life lessons learned on the baseball field are critical tools for the development and growth of our children. As a volunteer-based community organization, we welcome your support, and treasure our community ties.
2026 College Scholarship Program
The Lake Bluff Youth Baseball Association annually awards $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors who have been accepted and plan to attend college the following fall semester after high school graduation. These deserving individuals will have been involved in or have participated as a player, umpire, scorekeeper, coach or as a regular volunteer in the LBYBA program.
All applications are due no later than April 1, 2026. Any received after April 1, 2026, will not be considered. This years’ awards will be presented on opening day April 11, 2026. Please direct any questions to Lake Bluff Baseball at lakebluffbaseball@gmail.com.
